That's not a common SnagIt pop up/message from SnagIt.

Are you sending images to another program through SnagIt? Because that looks like a pop-up message from another program to me.

What program is being used as the destination for the captured image?

I've seen that icon associated with another program, Picasa maybe.

Yep, you got it. I found a Picasa icon image online that matches the one in the screenshot.

I just snag the pic from Picasa, and then copy it

Well, thats odd.

It seems to me it's a Picasa related matter. There may be a setting to disable that pop-up in Picasa's settings. You should probably be contacting them regarding this.

However, you can also contact TechSmith support to assist with that.

Janis, it's a bit unclear as to exactly when you are seeing this message. From what we see in your screen shot, it might suggest that it becomes part of the screen shot. Does it? Or did you capture that image when you saw the popup? And you are asking about if there is a way to avoid seeing the popup?

The box slides in whenever I want to snag the pic.  I would like to stop the popup from showing at all because it gets in my way a lot
