Use the Snipping Tool found in Windows to capture the image and print.

I'm not sure I understand the question.
If you are looking to take a screen capture of SnagIt when it's open. Menus, Editor, etc. You can change preferences to accomplish that. See Image Below, Click to Enlarge.

I was hoping for a more robust solution. Perhaps this is a feature request.

What I'd like to see is a way to export customized profile settings to share with others. This way you don't have to manually do this for others when they need the same settings setup on their machines. A time saver.

You can do this already. Export either all profiles or individual ones so that you can share with others. Go to the Organize Profiles menu where all the export/import options are found. The help file lists this under the topic "Share Profiles."

I agree.  It would also be nice to be able to print a Reference card showing the profiles and what they do!

Joseph and Alexei,
I can appreciate what you want to do. Especially for a business environment. It makes a lot of sense to export user profiles and install them on other machines. Quite a time saver.

My second thought. As far as having a reference card goes. Showing profiles and what they do.
To actually put everything down in writing. Would probably require a pretty big card.  Program functionality can be abstract and difficult to process. If you are new to a program it can be difficult at first. Writings are not always easy to follow either. So I think that a card would require visual references as well.

That being said.
If you made a short video describing each profile. You could demonstrate step by step.

1. How to create from scratch. Each user profile.
2. How and when to use that profile.
3. How to capture what is important.
4. How to check your work.
If a picture is worth a thousand words. A video can cover Chapter One.

Time is money. A well done tutorial saves everyone time.
Visual media shows concepts and instruction in real time. That helps the viewer answer many of their own questions.
When everyone is working on the same page. Great ideas come from it.
I use Camtasia myself. I'm not trying to promote it. But it is my "Program of Choice" for tutorials.
I wouldn't use SnagIt. For a lot of reasons.

As you found, it can't be done easily.  However, I wonder why do you need to?  How many profiles do you have that aren't adequately described by their names.  For me, I have just a few profiles and normally just use the default.  I get that everybody is different but what kind of things do you do with your profiles?  Maybe we can offer suggestions to pare things down to a few critical profiles where a list won't be needed.

Nice catch on the Export Custom Profiles Manny. Never saw that before, never needed to either. I Thought   a Screen Shot to show where to find it would be beneficial to others.

I  think Custom Profiles is SnagIt's most versatile and time saving  feature. That is if you need to automatically send a lot of captures into different Programs, Folders, etc.  Save in any format, Send to printer. File naming customization. So many options.
You already know this. I eluded to it for others to read.
I know you like to suggest that less is more when managing profiles. In most cases, that's probably true.
I also think the feature is misunderstood and underutilized as well.

I agree that profiles is an extremely useful but very misunderstood feature.  Since most users don't need it that much, it's easy to see how that confusion arises. You're right that I like the less is more thingy. It's because I have a simple mind so I have to keep things easy in order to keep up with it all.  You, however, are certainly the profile King!
