How do I remove the player controls from interactive video after production?

I'm using Camtasia 8, it seems the only way I can produce interactive videos which take advantage of the hotspots I have created is by turning on the player controls in the production dialog.

I have them set to Auto-Hide, but I don't want the player bar to appear at all when the user moves the mouse over the video. Is there anyway I can hack any of the included files to stop the player bar from showing. If it was a YouTube video embed, it would be super easy. But with YouTube I would have to recreate all the hotspots, and I would have a big fat YouTube player icon sitting on top of my video.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I've spent hours trying to nut this one out so far.

Hello CADPRO,

You should be able to hide the controller, however this only works for HTML5 player.  In the script section of your <ProjectName>_player.html, please add
TSC.playerConfiguration.setDisableControls(true);

Hope this is what you are looking for.  Thank you very much for using Camtasia Studio.

It wont open at all, I don't even have the ability to right click Open With. Maybe I will pull the MP4 and reproduce it in Camtasia myself and see if it will open.

maybe some security thing in play here; I have no experience with a SCORM zip, so maybe that has locked the file?

what app are you using to try and open; might have to try directly from within the app?

could you share the file on SC.com?  I could try opening it myself

Thanks that worked for me as well. Do you know how to remove the "Watch Video Only No Quiz" at the start of videos that has A quiz in it.

Thanks.

Is there any chance to remove controls from Flashplayer? (Need this for IE)

I tried to resize the iframe, but the embeded video just resized and the controls stayed visible.

As Eugene says, this only works in the HTML 5 player. Once you upload it to a SCORM LMS the video plays with a scroll bar at the bottom allowing users to scroll throught the video to until they get the test. In Captivate there is a skin editor which allows you to remove any controls when the video plays in the LMS. Is there a way to do something similar. If not, there should be.
Thanks
