I am looking to use the Triangle Teaser as an intro which I downloaded from Techsmith Camtasia assets.  It tells me to insert a screen video in it.  Am I just putting my screen shot or actual video clip?  Does anyone else have a finished project using this they can share with me?  Thanks so much.

You need to sign into techsmith, then go through the link to the assets for download. You can click on the Camtasia Logo to automatically send it to Camtasia. or you could download it as a .libzip file, then double-click it or just open the file then camtasia will open up asking where you want the asset to go (which library)

The easy way is to import a file from the properties panel.

Unfortunately this is a bit limited at the moment, because it only allows you to add an existing video file.

The more complicated way is to open up the group and use the replace feature.  Drag something from your library or media bin to the screen recording inside the open group, wait until the green outline appears, and release.

I would have posted a gif, but GetSatisfaction does not seem to like me today. :(

This is something we are still working on, so it is good to see that someone is interested in using it.

I have one more question.  It looks like the video actually needs to be inserted twice.  Is it a video both times?

It can be.  The idea is that we will see a short clip of your presentation/video against the triangle background, and then it will do a transition into the full screen version.  But the first one could be a still image.  It is your choice.  This asset is meant as a starting point to help you figure out how to use some of the more advanced features of Camtasia.

Oh, I have been using Camtasia for years and always add my own transitions.  But I am actually customizing this with a different background and colors of shapes.  Hopefully I will use this.  Thanks!
