How do we import our CS 8 Library Content?

Can't seem to find a way to import this. Should be a note, tutorial or even a prompt the first time Camtasia is installed, asking "Would you like to import your Library Content from a previous version?"
What's more is, when I try to add an annotation for the ENTER key, I am only left with the RETURN text. Don't want that.

You can select everything in the Camtasia 8 library and export it as a zip file.
Then, you can import that library into Camtasia 9.

It's better to do it once you open the software with no existing project opened.

Here is what I found from another post.
  1. If you still have Camtasia Studio 8 installed open it up, go to the library tab, right click and choose Export library.  This will create a .libzip file which you can then import into Camtasia 9 by clicking on File > Library > Import Zipped Library.
  2. Another option is to export just the individual project that contains those specific assets.  In Camtasia Studio 8 click on File > Export Project as Zip.  Then in Camtasia 9 choose File > Import Zipped Project.
  3. The third option is to download the the Camtasia Studio 8 .libzip file from here.  Once you download the libzip file you can then import into Camtasia 9 by clicking onFile > Library > Import Zipped Library.

You can also Export individual folders and/or assets from your existing Library with a right-click. I'm taking that opportunity to "clean" things up a bit...

The only export option I have, even when right-clicking a single "asset" or folder, is to export the Library.  Any other suggestions?  (I don't want to import duplicate items possibly creating a mess.

In CS 8, a right-click on a Library folder or asset, says "Export Library..." but it will actually just export whatever you have clicked on...not the whole Library.

Using a folder as an example, I usually click on it as if I'm editing the text to rename it and copy that description (i.e. Sound Effects) during the Export.

Then, Export the folder pasting in the description for the LIBZIP filename.

That makes it easy to identify the file I want to Import...

Any idea of how Exporting CS 8 Library folders and/or assets that are MOV with alpha will work? I have a lot of those...

I'll test it and post what I find.
