Every time I used the down arrow key (to go to next paragraph, next line, etc...) my quick capture comes up.... I set up my own hot key, so I am not sure why this keeps popping up. I have snagit 13 as far as the version... Can someone please help?

Hi Kortne, thanks for taking the time to write.

What hotkey do you curently have set up to capture? Some keyboards have functionality overlap between the num pad and the direction arrows. If you have 'Num 2' set as a capture hotkey this may be the culprit that is causing your down arrow to bring up your quick capture.

I hope this resolves your issue, if not, it would be helpful if you could provide more info about the hotkeys you're currently using for your 'quick capture' as well as any other 'Presets' you may have set.

I never set a hot key movement - but Snag-it started doing this on its own. I know, uninstall and re-install - God, how I hate that techinique

Thank you Nick.  I was having the same problem.  It only started last week, and as with Kortne, I didn't make any changes to Snagit.  Anyway, I simply removed the "Num 2" hotkey under the Capture button and now I'm no longer having the issue.

Wow, it had to be an overlapping issue. Thanks for the help. Once I removed it to where it states Add Hotkey, my hotkey that i personally setup worked fine. Again, thanks for the help.

I was having the same issue as the other guys.  Clearing the hot key (by clicking on the 'X') solved the problem.  Thanks for the help!
