I want to import a video recorded in Zoom into Camtasia 2019 to edit and add title and end slides. Can I do this with Cam 2019 - or do I need Camtasia Studio?

Import the ZOOM mp4 file into your library then add it to the timeline ... then "ungroup" to separate audio and video...I just did a bunch of these myself.
My ZOOM sometimes download 2 or 3 files but its only the MP4 one that you need.  Good Luck!

Agreed and it should work in any version of Camtasia.

I get an error when I attempt this:  "Cannot load file... It is either an unsupported media type or required codecs are not found."  This is a mp4 file from Zoom.

When something like this happens.
Re-encoding,converting,tans-coding, call it what you wish. Is probably your only option.
Handbrake is a free program that does high quality mp4 to mp4 conversions.

I ended up opening the mp4 file in Windows Movie Maker, and then exported it as an mp4 file. Worked fine.

If you haven't already done this, please check the Zoom settings for "Recording," and ensure the checkbox "Optimize for 3rd party video editor" is selected. (Needs to be done before recording in Zoom.)

I'm not finding that option to optimize for 3rd party video editor under recording. Could it be called something else?

Is there a way to get the date stamp off Zoom videos so they don't carry over to Camtasia? My date stamp option isn't checked.
