I want to capture a pop-up from another pop-up

When clicking with right mouse button on nr. 2 there is another popup and all off this I want to capture as 1 picture. In version 12 no problem but in versio 13 when I have all the popups in sight and start capturing all pop-ups are closed

You need to temporally change the capture preferences. Uncheck " Hide SnagIt when capturing"

You could record the screen using the screen recorder and extract a frame from the video in the editor showing what you want to capture.
Have you updated SnagIt to version 13.0.2 because this is a bug that I had as well but it has been corrected on my system.

Yes, I have 13.1.1.  But we shouldn't have to go to the trouble of using video.  I just want to capture (using hot keys), a still pic of a message that pops up when I hover over an icon with my mouse pointer.  I want BOTH the mouse pointer and the pop-up.  :(   Never mind - I got it!!

Do you have Windows 10? You can grab screen shot with 10 very easily.
See this thread.

Have you tried a timed delayed capture?  This could give you enough to create what you want, and then capture.
