I realize this is probably a very stupid question but here goes anyway. I'm in snagit. And I want to capture something on a internet page. How do I get from within snagit to the video page I want to capture. It seems to me  the program asks me all kind of questions on what size, etc I want to capture, but i can't figure out how to get out of snagit to get to the page I want captured? I'm recording the snagit page which is NOT what I want to record. Make sense? help.

  1. Start up SnagIt.
  2. Now  notice the keys used to copy a a given area ⌘-C  or ⌘-W for copy Window.
  3. Now use red stop light button to dismiss the editor window.
  4. Now got website and scroll to desired area.
  5. Now either use ⌘-C to copy a specific area, or ⌘-W or copy entire view area as a window.
  6. Now Editor should open and add your desired annotations.

Hi,

If i'm understanding you correctly, Snagit is getting in the way of what you want to capture. We have a setting in Snagit to control that. If you check "Hide Snagit when capturing", then it will never get in the way of your captures.

I hope this helps
