Ok I have a New windows 10 computer with Small SDD.drive C: and a large 2 terabyte drive D
Problem is that all my 500 movies reference drive C for images.
This new computer puts all camtaisa data on wrong drive. Eg: drive D

My current plan is to reconfigure my computer so the SSD is moved to drive D and the big data drive moved to drive D: then I would install Camastia on the fast SSD D drive.

This configuration should preserve all my movie links.

Has anyone managed to move the windows boot drive to drive D. And configure the bigger hard drive to drive C:

Or any other solutions :)
Does running Camtasia on the SSD improve performance?

running Camtasia on an SSD system drive definitely helps

what do you mean by " ... all my 500 movies reference drive C for images ..."?

are you referring to links in hotspots? produced videos and not projects?

When I open a project all the media references are using c drive. So putting all my data on d will not work

are you zipping your projects?

I keep all my project zipped archives on external HD; when I import a zip for further editing/production, I load it in a C drive directory; that way, only media from 1 project is on C drive, and then, only when editing

it's been a while since I've used Dropbox; doesn't it consume HD space?

if these images are used in many different projects, keep them on your large HD [not system SSD], then just put the few ones you need for a specific project on the SSD when editing

otherwise, again suggest using the zipped project protocol

I currently have 2 configurations First with windows os on the ssd ...just 500 gigs. And a useless 2 terabyte hard drive
Second configuration is os and data on the 2 terabyte. As ssd loads camastia.

Now testing
