How to create playlists

Hello,

I want to compile several Camtasia videos I’ve created into one “playlist” kind of experience embedded in my WordPress site.

Any suggestions on how to do this?

I’d like users to start at video #1, see there are other videos in the series, and be able to click any of the videos to watch them.

Right now I’m embedding each video onto a page separately, which makes for long pages, lots of scrolling, and ugly pages.

Cheers,
Johnn

There are several ways to do this, mostly through the player.

If you host on Vimeo, you can configure an "end screen" for each video that contains up to three more of your videos, which sounds like what you want.

Another possibility, in Camtasia, is to add callouts at the end of your videos that link to the other video in the series.  You can do this by adding hotspots to your callouts (look under the effects section to find the interactive hotspots effect).  In the hotspots properties, choose the 'Pause at end' option (so the video stops playing at this point - your uses can have time to read the callout text and click it). Then choose the URL option and type in the URL for the video you want to be taken to next.  You can add a callout for each video you want to have a link to.  Just be sure they don't overlap each other or the user may not go to the link they thought they were going to. You will need to use the TechSmith smart player to recognize and interact with the hotspots. This tutorial should help you get started:
