Hey so i want to cut a video  for example from 0:51 to 0:57;56 .Dragging my cursor it's working very bad since it automatically moves to the end of the portion where the yellow line is not letting me to cut anything in between. Is there anyway i can type second A and second B and just cut it like that

There is a couple things you can do.

1. Turn off 'timeline Snapping"  Goto View>>Timeline Snapping and uncheck the options you don't want to snap.

2. Temporally disable timeline snapping on the fly
Click on the red or green playhead handle and then press and hold the CTRL key and drag
Things won't snap.

3. Play the video and add a marker to the start and end of the section you want to cut.Put your playhead on one of the markers and click/drag one of playhead handles to the other marker.
The playhead/handles will snap to the markers and you can cut the section

You can also use S (split) at 0:51 and at 0:57;56, then use the red and green markers (which will snap to the splits) followed by using the scissors.  (Remember:  This will trim all tracks unless you lock the other tracks.)
