how to easily see which images or video clips have been used in video - any workarounds someone has come up with?

I use multiple clips and still images and it is difficult to see which ones I've actually used as although the name is in the timeline, if the segment is only 3 secs long it is impossible to effectively see the actual name and then refer back to the media bin to see which one it is. Especially when you might have a few similar images or clips in the bin. Does anyone have a workaround as Camtasia doesn't have any method like a tick or highlighting of the images/clips in the media bin that are actively in use in the timeline to help in this regard - that I know of anyway.

Camtasia 2020 added a feature.
You can highlight timeline media.
Right click and select "Select in Media Bin"

This will highlight the media in question.

Thanks Joe. does this mean it will automatically show the ones you've used in the video as those particular images or clips in the bin will be highlighted as 'being used'?
I currently have Camtasia 2019...

No, it does not.
It should  be enhanced to include that information in the media bin.

You can also select the media in the media bin.
Then select media on timeline will find all instances on the timeline.

It would be great if usage information were attached to the thumbnails.

Context-click in the media bin and choose Select Unused Media, anything not selected has been used.
