Simple question.  My thumbnail keep a certain number of snapshot but erase them after a certain number

Is there any parameter I can this ?

By exemple, I like to keep at least 100 snapshot.  Is it related to a certain capacity somewhere ?

Note : I don't want to save them everytime.

I'm going to guess you are referring to the thumbnails in the Recent Capture Tray.

The max thumbnails that can be in the tray is 15.

Depending how you have your settings,  your images also go to the library or yes can be deleted.

Under Edit>>Editor Preferences>>Library tab
Set the number of recent files in the tray (must have a value from 1 to 15),  if you want captures saved to the library or not and if the tray gets emptied or not when closing the editor.

Once you hit the max number of 15 in the tray than new captures start replacing previous captures.
But your captures will be in the library if you selected to save them there.

I have captures over several years and they are still in the library.
I have never had Snagit automatically delete anything that I hadn't saved elseware.

I have saved many into other folders for better organization than the library,  as well.

Super !  It was exactly what I like to.  Don't know why I didn't look at library options.

Thanks a lot

I have the same issue as #Dubie and want to set those same settings but I have SnagIt version 11 (Build 93) and don't see "SnagIt Editor Preferences".

I found it!!! never mind the above.

I don't know how I did it -  a lot of clicking around!!
