Hi everyone,

I'm used to record my Mac screen using Screenflow and I'd like to move to Camtasia. The only issue with Camtasia is that I didn't find a way to hide Camtasia app icon from the Dock nor the Cmd+Tab openend apps just like I can with Screenflow.

While recording tutorials it's extremely annoying to have the app you are recording with showing up whenever you change from one app to another or go to the Dock to open something.

Screenflow uses a Helper Plugin (it's a native solution) to start and keep itself hidden from the view and I can start and stop recording using shortcuts. Is there any way to do the same with Camtasia 2020? I dind't find it yet, unfortunatelly.

I appreciate any help.

You can set your dock to auto hide.

What I do, is have a second screen, and have all the apps I need full screen.
This way you don't have the dock or the menu bar showing.
