How to nudge a clip in the storyline

I have an audio recording that I am trying to line up with the video, 2 separate tracks. The sync is close but I want to just nudge the track left or right. Other than dragging, not very precise, s there not a way to do this the keyboard? Looked at all the keyboard shortcuts in the PDF for 2.9 but nothing about moving or nudging.

Does your media snap to the playhead?

If so, perhaps a solution involves positioning the playhead at the edge of the clip, then using the keyboard to nudge the playhead perhaps one frame away, then drag the clip so it snaps to the playhead?

Cheers... Rick :)

Thank you Rick, that is definitely a good work around and better than what I was trying to do. I was hoping for a keyboard shortcut, maybe Shift+, and Shift+;. These would normally move the play head but what if adding shift moved the clip. My case may be a one off or at best an exception and not the rule but I think this is a valuable keystroke that should be considered.

Thanks again for your suggestion.
Many thanks,
Houston

Houston, I think that most timeline-based editing tools specifically avoid having a keystroke that can nudge a clip, because it would be so easy to desynchronize clips that way by mistake (pretty much the opposite of what you are trying to accomplish right now!).

In any case, I frequently need to align clips. I use the method Rick Stone suggests.
