How to remove a previously applied Extend frame in Camtasia Studio?

How can I, if I already have used Extend frame on a video element, remove the extended frames? I can't see any remove or delete options, while Duration doesn't accept 0. The lowest value is 0.1, which means – depending on fps – 3 duplicate frames. I want 0 extra frames.

It seems like the only option is to remove the entire video frame, and reapply all effects and edits. If this is true then the only way to use Extend frame is to first split the video in three, extending the middle video.

I zoom into the timeline as much as possible. This makes trimming easier.

Then you place your cursor over the end of the extended frame and drag it Backward.
If you are using Auto Stitching you will need to split the extended frame  at the stitch first be cutting it.
