Using SnagIt 13. Simply trying to remove all effects from a screen capture, and can't do it! There is no "No effects" style in Quick Effects and no way to remove all borders, edges, etc. etc. Why is this so hard?

Once a file has been flattened, effects no longer can be removed, in case this is what happened.

No, this is not the case. I'm just trying to remove the default effects that are applied to a capture as soon as I enter the editor.

did techsmith replied this?  I do not want any border when I capture an image. Right if I capture something, snag it adds an unwanted white border.  How do I remove it?

I just figured this out.  In the Snagit capture popup window, there are some drop downs where you can select effects.  It was adding jagged edge to all my captures and I couldn't get rid of it in the editor.  But if you clear out the effects in this popup capture window then it won't have the default effects that are impossible to remove once you get to the editor.
