How to save a Camtasia project to a library

I have created my own intro using Camtasia. I want to save it into my library as a camtasia project so I can edit elements like text etc. I have Camtasia 2018 for the Mac. Is there a way to do this? I don't want to create a video and save that because then the text would not be editable.

Sorry for what may seem like a basic question but I could not figure this out on my own.

Select all of the media on the timeline (or at least all of them that back up your intro section).  Then either right-click on the selection and choose the 'Add to Library' option or choose the + menu (at the bottom of the Library tab) and choose the 'Add Timeline Selection..." option.  In either case, this brings up a dialog where you can give your asset a name as well as choose the library you want the asset added to.

Don't hesitate to ask.  Even though it is really easy to find and use once you know where the options are, it takes some exploration to find the option you want...especially when you don't know if it even exists or not.

Happy to see you're attempting to make use of the Library.  It can be a really useful tool when your work flow includes reusable media.

FYI,  when you add multiple clips to your library at one time, we create one single asset that is comprised of all of the selected clips.  When you add that asset back to your timeline, it will be added as a group.  If you haven't used groups in Camtasia yet, this may feel confusing at fist since it looks like a single clip.  But it makes it very easy to move your asset around on the timeline without losing sync between the multiple clips within the group.  You can also apply effects and animations to the group as a whole which at times makes it easier to get the result you want.  If you need to modify individual clips within the group, you can click the + button on the group and another tab will open on the time line that shows the contents of your group.  You can close that tab when you are done editing in the group, or click the first tab to go back to the full timeline.
