How do I screen record a video without also recording the room noise? Is there a way to only capture the audio from the source?
This is for Camtasia 2019 on Mac.
Thanks

You are not specifying what's "the source"; however, when you are recording, you can select two audio sources: internal or external mic and system audio (computer sounds). It's best to use a high-quality external mic, like an Audio Technica 2020 USB mic, and to record in a quiet, air-conditioned room.

Sorry; the source would be the recorded video.

Very easy.  Carefully examine the "Camtasia Recorder" window when you choose to start new recording.  Just turn OFF the mic input shown here:

Thanks! It worked beautifully after I downloaded the System Audio app.
It sucks to be a newbie!

Yep.  We were all newbies at one time.

Checkout the many Camtasia tutorial videos (just google that phrase), by TechSmith and others.
I found them to be the fastest method of learning.

Yes, I plan on doing that.
