you cannot share the Library folder

to share Library assets, export the selected assets as a libzip file [right click option]; import the libzip into the other PC's Library

note: double-clicking a libzip will start the import process

So if 2 two users update their library daily. They both have to export and import daily to keep synced :(

Importing and exporting is nonsense. It is 2017. People work in teams, using multiple computers in multiple locations. The product SHOULD support collabration and sharing the library between multiple users and their devices through shared network folders and/or cloud drives.

Bill kayakman (Bob) has always been a great guy and helps a lot here through the years. He pushes the software to the limits too. The method he explained works great at least for me but if there is another suggestion/idea that you would like to see that would add the synchronization and collaboration you would like to have then please post it as an idea so maybe we can get some votes for that feature. Never know what will happen. Thanks for posting your question and glad to hear that at least this method works for you for now. Everything in software could use improvements and always room for more features no matter which software programs we use in my opinion. Have a great day/night. :)

What I have done seems to work fine.

In the Snagit Editor (on each PC) click on "Share" on the top left-hand menu, then select  Share Preferences" and then click on the "/Library" Tab and set it to a shared folder that is available to each of your PCs. This needs tro be a folder which will be updated automatically whenever any PC adds a file to it. The solution is to use something like "OneDrive".

The drive on my PC in each case is: C:\Users\{username}\OneDrive\Snagit\, ( where {username} is your local Windows userid). If you have "OneDrive" setup (for example) it will show in the File Explorer as "OneDrive" and THAT is the folder you should select after creating a "Snagit" folder on OneDrive. This should probably be achievable within Camtasia as well. Problem solved!
