How to snap playhead back to a starting position - Camtasia 9.1.1

Camtasia 9.1.1    Not sure how to ask this so let me explain my dilemma.  I'm editing a narrated lecture.  I need to precisely edit out some noise.  I can make a good guess as to where the selection needs to start, hit the space bar, play the section.  But if I'd didn't happen at the very beginning of the noise, I would like to hit a hot-key, have the playhead snap back to where it started.  Then I could use the comma and period keys to precisely position and try again.

The missing piece is the hot-key(s) to have the playhead snap back.  Is that possible or am I just looking for unicorns?

Hope this makes sense

your best approach is to make a timeline selection around your intended target area, then play with space bar; adjust playhead color selectors as needed

otherwise, the only other auto-kickback I know of is to put the playhead somewhere, start play, then use the enter key; play will restart at the last start location; but stopping at the beginning is the challenge

If you were to set a marker at that beginning spot, you could then press Ctrl+[ to jump back to the marker. Would that help?

A bit cumbersome but I think that will work better than what I'm doing now.   THANKS!
