I am trying to screen capture alot of PDF files. Every time I am done with a capture the little SnagIT capture box hides on the top part of my monitor. Is there a way to keep "open" so I can keep clicking away??

Hi David

If you open SnagIt Preferences and look at the General tab, you should see an option controlling whether SnagIt should be hidden before capturing. Generally, folks don't want it appearing in the capture so it's enabled by default.

Cheers... Rick :)

Additionally, you might find that pressing the Print Screen key is more effective.

The red One Click flyout can no longer be controlled by the user.  Those options were removed by the TS a version or two ago.   The checkbox is to hide Snagit but doesn't impact OneClick.

There's no longer a way to do what you want David unless you revert back to an older version.  V10, I think allowed for the flyout to stay out for a long time but I don't think any of the versions allowed for it to permenantly to stay out.  One click is designed for single captures.  For multiple captures, if I'm reading you correctly, you can do a profile timed capture but that depends on exactly what you are doing.

And now here's what stinks for me in Snagit 13. The flyout stays open all of the time and I can't get it to hide again. Why is it so hard to strike a balance here? Let it auto hide when I want it to and stay open when I want it to.
