how to stop coache's eye syncing content behind the scenes?

Used on Android 7.0 on ZenPhone 3 Deluxe

The app is regularly trying syncing content behind the scenes without being able to control the process or to aknowledge the content used.

I don't have a locker.
I don't want the app to sync anyhting out of my phone and without my permission.

When cut WiFi and LTE data access the syncing content process remains hanging forever until phone reboot.

There is any way to remove this sync process option within the app?

This is a huge problem. I uninstalled Coach's eye months ago due to this exact issue. Now, with my season coming up, I installed it again, to find this issue has still been completely unaddressed.

Techsmith, you are trying to sync content to an online account without my permission. I do not want the content synced. I want local storage only. There is no way to disable this prompt, which comes up every 30 seconds or so. I have even disabled Coach's Eye from running in the background through Android, and the issue persists.

I should note that this is not an issue on my Fire tablet running FireOS 5, and is only an issue on my Nexus 5X running android 8.0.0

What's worse? I don't even have any content. I am using a clean install with no videos at the moment. And yet my account is constantly syncing even with wifi enabled.
