looking to create a 'show and tell' presentation for older adults of useful apps they can use on their iphones/ipads, and android devices. Want to show logo of app in the app store, then showcase the particular apps select features by opening the app to show its 'look & feel' after opening, click on a few options, and ultimately conclude with a slide show - organized either via general subjects or titles of apps - NOTE: am total presentations newbie and intuititvely challenged - so appreciate any help detailed accordingly, tia

Hi there

Sounds to me that your issue is more that you have a need to display your phone on your computer. Then you can use software to record the actions you perform on your phone.

You might want to investigate TechSmith Camtasia or TechSmith SnagIt. Either of those applications should allow you to record your screen. Camtasia is more expensive, but blows SnagIt away with its editing capabilities.

This link should open to one piece of software that can be used to get that phone screen on your computer.

And here is another link to some different information.

I don't believe you indicated your operating system, but Windows was presumed.

Cheers... Rick :)

I use Techsmith's Capture application on my Iphone to record the iphone screen as a go through all my steps, and then I user the option to email the file to myself on my PC, and them imported it into Camtasia to edit and produce a final video, or to take screen shots.  Capture also has a built in function to tranfers a video directly into your Camtasia program If both Phone and PC are on the same network.  I've used this as well.
