When re-recording audio over a slideshow (powerpoint) which is to be edited and converted into an MP4 via Camtasia, I keep getting the original audio files recorded over the new.

Hi Gerry,

Which version of CS are you using? I assume you use CS 7. If you use Voice Narration tab in CS editor to voice over a camrec recording of your slideshow, you could check "Mute speakers during recording" so mic won't pick up the audio from speakers. Or you could separate audio from video and delete the audio before voice over if that's what you want.

Thanks,

Kevin
