Is it possible ?  I know I can split a track into an audio and video track..however if I want to crossfade from one video to another, that would require 2 or more video tracks.  How would I either add or create multiple video tracks ?????

Hello,
Yes, you can add tons of tracks and accomplish what you'd like.
I'd recommend checking out the 2:50 mark of this video: http://www.techsmith.com/tutorial-camtasia-mac-gs-4-editing-essentials-need-to-know.html

But let me also take a guess as to the problem you may be running into. You have the one long clip both in your Media bin, as well as on the timeline. You're going to want to have two clips. The easiest way to do this would be to first split the long clip ... actually, it'll be clearer if I just whip up a quick video showing how to do this. :) Here you go: http://www.screencast.com/t/URxppd3H00

I hope that helps!
Sincerely,
Mike Curtis

Mike,

Thanks for getting back to me.  Not quite what I have... I actually have multiple video media files, and screen grab and video of me talking, so I didn't need to split the video. :-) However, seeing that I could just move up both my video tracks and C2FM would automagically add to more tracks so that I could add a cross fade, cool! Thanks for getting back, that answered my question.  I appreciate your help!!

Miles.

Me too.  I am teaching students about tango music...and that requires multiple screen grabs as well as seeing me on cam, and multiple audio inputs.  Thanks for the assist!

Nice tutorial vid Mike. Could that be added to the tutorial videos? Or even a page on this? Just adding the word "crossfade" to the title of a tutorial where this already exists would help, really couldn't find this anywhere.
