Camtasia Studio 8 seems to happily remember everything about my presets apart from where to put the output files. I've looked all over the menus but for the life of me, I can't find anywhere that I can change this location. It just keeps going back to the first one I ever used. This seems like it should be trivial.

do a custom production; set the output location on the last step in the Wizard

So you have to recreate the preset just to get it to save to a different folder? You can edit pretty much everything else. That's crazy.

a custom production does not create a preset, it makes a one time production against a specific set of parameters; the last step in that process is to set the production name and output folder; the wizard will remember what output destination you set
