Several people have asked us how they can make their own Sketch Motion callouts. Right now this is not possible within the Camtasia Studio interface.

In the meantime - there is a workaround - two actually:

First, go to the Camtasia Studio Library Media web page and download the Sketch Motion Callout sets we have available for free (toward the bottom of the page):
http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia/lib...

-or-

Second, if you need a special callout or an entire set you don't see available for download, just let me know and I will whip some up for you!

How are you using Sketch Motion callouts? I'd love to see or hear about some examples!

PS - new Sketch Motion callouts are added to your Library - NOT to the Callouts Gallery. To use from the Library - just drag the callout to the timeline and drop it there.

Double-click the callout on the timeline to make changes to the color, shadow, etc. in the Callouts tab.

You can save the changed callout as a new callout in the Library by right-clicking the changed callout on the timeline and choosing Save to Library from the context menu.

Hi there,
I have had several requests for new Sketch Motion callouts so I have put together a small package of eight new callouts.

Some people have asked for perfect circles, or callouts that can be filled. Since these are hand drawn, a perfect circle is hard to achieve. Also, Sketch Motion callouts do not have fill properties so I cannot fulfill those requests.

Here's what you get in this small assortment:

You can download the Library zip file here containing the callouts. Follow the instructions on the screen to download from the Attachments tab:
