How do I Record only what's in Window?

Fraps is able to do it. How do I record only what's in the video player that I have open? I don't need the whole screen. Also, I don't want to compose and produce and share the videos, I just want the video to come out in 720 and be done with it. I just want to screen cap and watch it without having to add it to this timeline and render it out and all this other stuff.

How do I do these things? Thanks a lot.

Hi there

In addition to what kayakman said, note that when you finish your recording, you have options. Choose Produce.

Note that you will still need to choose a format and render the video out in order to play it again and again.

If you want to simplify that, you may want to consider using SnagIt to record your video, as it offers a greatly "simplified" production process.

Cheers... Rick :)
