Someone gave me a camrec file in which I have their voice recording tied to a power point presentation. At one point in the camrec file, he accidentally moved on to the next slide before he meant to. He just kept right on recording and did not move back to the previous slide. So my question is...how do I pause the image on the screen (to keep it on the first slide) without pausing the audio?

After you placed the camrec on the timeline( track), right click and choose "separate Video and audio". You can now lock the audio track, and where you need to extend the video, point the timeline head over the video and again with right click, choose the option "Extend frame", and set the time you need to match with the audio.
