How do we render video in 60 fps?

I know Camtasia can be set to record 60 fps, but it seems like all the rendering options force the output to 30 or below. I am genuinely looking to render at 60, so I'm hoping there is a codec or setting I'm overlooking. Under custom production settings, it actually looks promising because setting the AVI frame rate to "Automatic" reads back 60 under "Details", but proceeds to make a 30 fps file after all. Am I missing something, or is it just not possible?

I believe that 30 FPS rendering is the max possible [?]

Yes, currently videos at a higher frame rate will be downsampled to 30 fps for preview and production.
