How do you make Sound Waves bigger (without making the sound louder)?

I am trying to edit the audio that goes along with my video. The sound waves are kind of small though and I am trying to delete fractions of a second worth of sound at a time.

Is there a way to make the sound waves on the time line larger (more size contrast between the quiet and loud sounds) so that I can see where a specific sound starts and ends more easily?

(the waves seem to be much larger in some projects then others, but sound like they are the same volume)

Hi Ryan,

We’ve made some changes in our latest version of Camtasia Studio (version 8.0.0) that will hopefully solve this issue for you.

We now allow vertical track resizing, along with zooming. Together, this should allow you to get a more detailed view of the waveforms that are being drawn, allowing for more precise edits.

Here is a quick video on how to resize the tracks.
