I would think that the text [English?] would move right to left so it reads as if scanned from written copy?

Anyway, in CS7, it is possible.

You need to construct a sequence of short durration contiguous text callouts that change content and position as a function of time; like each callout is 3 or 6 frames long [10 or 5 frames/sec], and as such, contains characters and position that when played, would look like a moving banner. [like making a dynamic cartoon from individual frames].

Example: [m] [my] [my ] [my n] [my na] [my nam] [my name], etc

I've done that before; works fine; just takes some editing effort.

Hi hatteras,

You can absolutely add scrolling text, using Camtasia Studio 8's new visual animations feature. Here's a video demonstrating how to create the marquee:

You can download a free, fully-functional 30-day trial of Camtasia Studio 8 here: http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia-wha....

That's an excellent and elegant solution for a problem that I was trying to solve, too. Thanks for the video, Cameron! CS8 is a huge move forward from the prior versions of Camtasia Studio. - Rick

I have a background and text box displayed at the end of a movie and would like the text box to scroll, sort of like credits do at the end of a movie. Any way of doing this in Camtasia Studio 8.x?
