How do I add the jagged papercut type thing in the middle of an image where you've cut ou the middle?

Hi Vicci,

1. Click the Cutout button.

2. Select the type of cutout you want.

Then click and drag to select the area you want to cut out.

Hope this helps.

Hi, thank you. It only seems to allow one height - which is much too big. Does it not scale to the height you want?

The only way I've been able to do this is to do the initial cutout that leaves too much space. Then I go to my selection tools, select the shape I want (the rectangle usually works fine), and draw a rectangle around the bottom area. I then cut it and paste it back on the screen where I can then drag it to the spot that I want it to be in.

One annoyance is that usually when you paste, it makes that canvas much bigger than the original so once you get your image the way you like it, you have to crop the canvas back down to size.

Dave, thanks. I "cut" out the middle of the cutout and the moved everything up. Silly not to be able to size the cutout when initially using.
