Hello !

I'm a happy Jing's user, thanks ^^ !

I would like to use the "opacity" option of the "Tool Color" with the "highlight" tool.
Curently it seems I can't :/.
I.E., I choose "Highlight", then I click on "Tool Color" then on "Custom", I move the "Opacity" cursor to get a 1 opacity, then I click "OK" and I draw the "Highlight" on the image... but this one still be with the 0.5 opacity :/.

Any idea to use "opacity" with "highlight" please ?
Thanks.

Hi!

Great question.
Unfortunately, setting a color's opacity only affects the text box, arrow, and outline, not the highlight.

Sorry I couldn't provide a workaround.

Conan.

There is currently no plan to add that ability to Jing.

While not free like Jing, Snagit can do what you want and much, much more. So, if that's a possibility, I'd highly recommend it.

Hello! no need to apologize - Snagit 11 (which you can download here) will work on Vista, but we dropped support for it on Version 12
