I bought super stamps. It is a very tedious process navigating the folder structure. I can't see all the wonderful stamps wihtout spending hours go back and forth on the little arrows. You need a better way to show the stamps fast and easily.

Hello Math,

Thanks for purchasing SuperStamps! Please note that there is a PDF document included that showcases all the stamps as well for a faster overview. You find this in the top folder and it's called  SuperStampsv4-Start-Here.pdf

The folders are also organized on subject matter, and the names indicate what the folder is about, but it is more difficult to see that on Snagit for Mac as there is a limit to the number of letters displayed for each folder.

If you have any suggestions or ideas on both how Snagit handles stamps and on how SuperStamps is organized I would really like to hear your thoughts.

Have a toggle button to make the drawer take up the entire screen with the entire name of the folder showing. Click on the folder. Make the pics take up the entire screen. I can't find the pdf. I used spotlight. no luck either.

I don't think you can send private messages here, so just open a support ticket on http://www.callouts.com/help/contact/  and include your SuperStamps license and I'll send you the pdf.

I hardly ever use them because of the tedious way of using them. Not very user-friendly at all.

This is crazy, I wish I hadn't bothered buying these extra stamps as they are way too time consuming to use. I mean, where do you start?

I shouldn't have to go digging around for a PDF. How about an option to toggle the view of the stamps palette from icons to a list? Give us a split bar so we can size the ratio between the editor and the side bar and a search field so we can find the stamps we're looking for.

NB: If anyone is looking of the PDF on a Mac you can find it in this folder after installing the stamps:
~/Library/Application Support/TechSmith/Snagit/Stamps.localized/Custom.localized/SuperStampsv4TS_b

Here is a tip (for Mac). Go to the SuperStamps folder. Open Finder then on the Menu select Go > Go To Folder... then paste in this:
~/Library/Application Support/TechSmith/Snagit/Stamps.localized/Custom.localized/
Then in the Finder's search bar (top right) type png and under Kinds select Portable Network Graphics.

You will now see all the stamps. You can switch to list or icon view, change the size of the icons, etc. You can also refine the search (e.g. typing store will show the app store stamps).

To use a stamp drag and drop it from the Finder into the SnagIt editor. The only difference I have found using this approach instead of the SnagIt's Stamps Palette, is the stamp is not auto-selected in the palette when you click it.

SuperStamps includes a large amount of Stamps, and to make it easier to find all the different stamps we had to divide them into folders. Unfortunately the folder names aren't completely visibile in the Mac version.

My recommendation is either to print the PDF to have a quick overview over the folders, or use the copy of the Stamps that is not installed into Snagit for an fast overview of the stamp folder structure. The SuperStamps Snagit Mac version come both with the Snagit installation and the files separate.

I hope that helps a little :)

I've just made the mistake of buying this! Where is the pdf? I can't find it. Can you make it accessible here. I can't find the folders mentioned above in the Finder either. What a pain!!

I further investigated this and now realize why this is confusing. When you placed the order there was two downloads available. One for PC and one for Mac.

To find the documentation and a second copy of all stamps that you can use in other software such as office or graphic applications, just download and unpack the windows version. The stamps included will also work on Mac and the Overview documentation is also included in that package.

Sorry again for all the confusion.

Here is a Snagit screenshot of my Super Stamps folder. I only dl'd the Mac version. Should there be more items than what is here? Also, this screenshot may be helpful to some others who are participating here.

Peter:  Based on your answer in "Cannot find or use superstamps onMac", is the answer to my question that I need to download more stuff, e.g. the Windows goodies??? I asked if there should be more items than showing in the screenshot but you didn't respond......  :)

Sorry Bob, I didn't get that part because both downloads look the same, but are placed in different locations. If you already located the Mac version you do NOT need to download the PC version, because it's the same files. You have all files in the above screenshots and can access the PDFs there as well.

You can always copy the files out to a more accessible location for future fast use. But do not move them because then they will no longer work in Snagit.

I mentioned the extra PC download for people that was unable to locate the Snagit installed files and I didn't want people to have to start digging around in the folders to locate the stamps.

I am sorry this wasn't clear.

Probably you can't find the folder because Chris above supplied an incomplete path. It is in the User Library not the System Library as his information indicates. Just go to your YourName library and the rest of his path is OK.

My two pennies. The folder navigation stinks while the rest of the SnagIt app shines other than in a couple of editing places where I would like to be able to control color in more of the tools. Please explore ways of doing this better instead lamenting what you see as limitations.

I have run across several apps that are able to create a sliding tray (like the bottom tray in SnagIt) just by clicking on the enclosing folder. If several have used it, it likely is part of one of Apple's programmer kits.

Hello,

I believe you should have received an email telling you how to download and install.
Can you check your email, spam folder, clutter, etc. to see if it is there?

If you don't see it, you can contact that company's support team here:
