Just delete the files, and then run a registry cleaner, (such as ccleaner).

If you cannot remove Camtasia through the Windows Uninstall Feature then have you tried Re-Installing the software and then doing an Uninstall ? Maybe something got accidentally deleted or was corrupted as I have never ran into this issue when uninstalling this software - Knock on Wood and hope I did not Jinx myself here lol.

Sorry to hear some have had this issue and I would suggest contacting TechSmith Support and ask them as they may be more equipped to help if the above solution of re-installing and uninstalling does not resolve your issue.
