Hi Pascal B
I am experiencing a similar crash bug (with same error message) with the latest version of Camtasia. I updated the software...and then the problems came up.

It's the weekend...so I'm waiting. My project is is major delay mode.  Early Monday, I will submit trouble ticket.   Good Luck R

It's not the Audio stream Reduce the number of tracks to no more than 4 and problem went away for me. I got the problem with clips where I had removed the audio or rendered them to a completely different format using another program.

Using a different (faster) PC would also allow me to open the same project (same clips) that had been crying 'unsupported audio stream' on another PC as soon as it loaded the timeline (or you attempted to render)

Strange.
