I have a problem: Camtasia studio lowers the volume

Hello guys!
This is my first time here so I sorry if I do some mistakes.

I am using Camtasia Studio 9 right now (Actually, this is the only program that I love to edit with)
and I think that there is a problem - Camtasia lowers the volume of the music (audio).

I noticed this problem many time ago but now I realize that it's very important to the videos that I am working on. For example, I downloaded a song from youtube I put it in the program, editing and etc. After I rendered the video and trying to watch it,  I realize that the volume is not the same, very very low compared to the original song that I downloaded.

(I want to say that I didn't change the volume of the song in the program)

Please, I don't know what to do and this project is very important to me, I have spent 15~ hours in this project (it is something very big that going to be in Youtube).

Hope that you can help me, the main problem: it is not the same volume before and after the editing.

Thank you very very much, I am waiting.

Hello,

I've seen this happen. You should be able to adjust this; your music is on it's own separate track? Each audio track includes a line through it indicating volume level. There is a tiny circle at the beginning (and end) of each audio track. Drag this up to increase the volume of the track; you'll see the position of the line running through the track go higher (or lower) as you adjust it. Hope that helps.

Not sure I understand; is it motion video that stops moving? The image looks like a clip where it has been edited in 6-7 places...

Yes, It is kind of getting stuck, I don't know why (I have a very strong computer so it is not possible that the computer is the problem).

I will add a video that you can understand the problem more specifically, I guess it's something that unusual and should not be like this.

I don't know why it is happening, the format of the video? program settings?
Of course that after render, I can see the video very good, no problems, perfect.
but in the preview that is another world... a bad one.

Video not available; if it works in the end and looks perfect go on to the next project.

Try to see the video now, should be fine.
And of course that is good after the render, but my life is going hard... I need to see the preview in the program and not every time after the render.

How did you record this game?

Is it recorded at 60fps by any chance? Because Camtasia's timeline doesn't support 60fps footage, it converts 60fps footage to 30fps as soon as it's placed on the timeline. That can introduce lagging in some instances.

You can try disabling GPU acceleration in preferences. That solves playback issues for some.
