I have paid Multiple times for your software and EVERY TIME that you announce a NEW version my version stops working

Today the software that I have paid for MANY times is NOT working again right after your announcement of a newer version.  I cannot capture a "REGION" now. it forces me into a full-page and I don't always want that.  The software was working for at least 1.5 years. I experienced the exact SAME problem just before your LAST new version.

Did you install a trial or something? There is nothing I'm aware of that would cause this. If anything, it has to be totally coincidental.

This is a user forum, even though it may or may not be monitored, at times, by Techsmith employees. 
Submitting a ticket to Techsmith technical support is probably what you need.

Thank you for reaching out. 
Do you mind answering some questions so we can narrow down the problem? 
Are you trying to capture an image or video? Under the selection field there is a drop down, what do you have selected?

Could you double check if "Region" is selected?
What version of Snagit did you upgrade from to?
