I just... what...? This thing is... holy cow...

I started a new job doing BIM (Building Information Modeling) but I also run my own business as a Web Developer / Graphic Designer on the side. Working my BIM job as a VDC (Virtual Design and Construction-er) I constantly have to reference things from 3D models and PDF project sheets. As a Web Developer I  constantly have to screenshot and explain aspects of WordPress (the engine I build for). Snagit is... it's beautiful. It has made MY work smoother and cleaner and makes me happy. But as a Web Developer?! Holy cow... I can grab a screenshot and do magic...

I'm in love with the products. I splurged and bought Snagit and Camtasia. I use them on my Work PC Laptop and my Mac Laptop and Desktop and I love it...

My only wish would be tutorials to be built right into the tools themselves.

For instance, I needed to number items in a PDF. I just assumed that Snagit did that... and there is it... the STEP Tool... Amazing... But now I'm wondering about various functionalities. Can I add step numbering? like 1.1 and 2.a and such? Having those videos would be amazing... But seriously, it would just be icing on this gorgeous and delicious cake...

Your group has created magic. Simplify is my #1 favorite tool.

Thank you all...

Yep, amazing tool.

To answer your question about the step tool it's 1,2,3 or A,B,C.

Other formats have been requested previously but the request has gone a bit stale.  Look out for a new request and vote it up!

Hi randomblink,
Thanks so much for taking time out to let us know how Snagit is helping make your job easier and better! We really appreciate hearing stories like this.

And, I'm glad your tucking in and using so many of the features Snagit offers. Oftentimes people use just a few of the options, but it sounds like you are taking advantage of many tools to really help increase your productivity.

Hi randomblink,

I echo what Kelly said above. I'm also interested in your use of the Simplify tool, which is a new feature that we're really excited about. Might you be able to tell me about how you use it and/or share an example?

Thanks a ton and have a great day!
