Having trouble when folks want me to edit a finished product. Do I cut camproj and insert or import the new camproj or do I put it into an MP4 format to import it? Camtasia 9. Thanks, Dottie

sounds like you need to replace a part of existing project with new content?
you can create the new content, edit it, then add that to the Library
assuming you still have original project, load original project, select/cut stuff needing replacement, then add in stuff from library
are you familiar with using the Library?

Hi! Thanks for answering Kayakman! Does it have to be the unedited trec file? Or can I go back to the camproj and add new edits into it in a comproj format. It's the different incompatible formats I'm having trouble with.

you can open[convert] a camproj to CS9's tscproj; so load/convert your original project, then you can edit it again; the camproj project file format becomes irrelevant; new edits will be saved as a tscproj file; you can of course produce as usual
when you may need to crack open old projects again, be sure and archive them by exporting to zip
