I need to see analytics on my videos but keeping all data in house

Hello there!
We use Camtasia in my office to produce videos. I love to be able to see the results on results.techsmith.com and we want to use this office wide.

The problem I see is that If I get Relay, data about users goes outside our organisation and that is not allowed. If I get fuse self hosted, I cannot do quizzing or analytics.

In a nutshell What I need is:
  • To be able to host the html that Camtasia creates in our server.
  • To keep the data about the viewers in our server.
  • To manage videos and see analytics from our server.
Is that possible?

Here are a couple of options for you.

1. TechSmith Relay Self-Hosted allows the data to be processed on a server inside your network with the videos being published anywhere you choose.  (Most likely, also a server on your network.)
2. For both Camtasia Studio and TechSmith Relay Self-hosted, you can modify the HTML container page to include your own tracking code (or use something like Google Analytics) to track usage.
   a. There are a couple of ways to do this... one is to modify the HTML page template on something like Relay and then all the presentations that use that encoding format will use that HTML which will have your tracking content within it.
   b. The other way is to use a ReWrite headers option on your webserver and have it automatically change the HTML as it's being served up to the end user.
3. For quizzing data, if you don't want it outside your network, perhaps you could create a SCORM package in Studio and have an internal LMS handle it.

Those are the options I see it.  Keeping stuff internal to your network of course your choice but obviously it will affect the choices you have with the functionality we can provide you.

If you want to email me and we can setup a time to chat to talk about this more in-depth, feel free to do so.
