I received a 10% off offer for Camtasia today - Must be a joke? Who uses Flash Player anymore?

As someone who's provided tech support for over 30 years, I won't use any video program that requires Adobe Flash Player or install the player on any of my computers. I can't afford having my systems compromised. Giving Camtasia away free wouldn't change the risks.

Camtasia doesn't use the Flash player. Why do you think that?

I believe the same thing Greg. Thankfully Windows 10 hosts all updates since 2015!
Rick - Adobe never protected users from downloading Adobe Free Updates from non-adobe sites. Imagine if you will, me offering Camtasia & Snagit updates. I'd download from TS, sprinkle in a few chunks of malware and a virus or two? and over to others. Over the years, maybe millions of computers were needlessly affected/infected.

I do understand. My confusion is why Greg would think Camtasia relied on Flash. But I see that he tagged both Camtasia as well as Jing. If memory serves, Jing did (or does?) create Flash videos. So perhaps that's where the confusion ensues? Greg maybe believes that Camtasia would produce the same thing Jing does?

I know TechSmith is exploring replacing Jing because Adobe is no longer supporting Flash.
