Reading all the issues with v12, I'll sit this out a little longer.

Technology is very hard.

I agree with Timbre4. I honestly could not use it without getting headaches from visual issues. But they listened and quickly changed things and it's much better now. I use it nearly every day!

Nobody is ever forced to upgrade.  In fact, people should install version upgrades in a different folder and give it try.  Snagit can have two versions installed but it won't run simultaneously.  Forums like this tend to bring out the negative since rarely do people come and post what they like.  They are here to solve problems.  Really, trying a version for yourself is the way to see if the negative comments apply to you.  Although I admit I prefer v11 over v12, there are lots of things to like in the new version.  Trying it out is really the best way to determine if you'll like it or not.  I'm actually running v12 right now but I have both installed.

Agreeing with Manny here. I admit that some of the issues I've seen discussed would give me pause, but so far, the upgrade has been good for me. I'm glad I did what Manny suggested: tried it for myself.
