Yesterday I recorded a speedrun video of an online game, and I used Camtasia 8 to edit it. When I sped up the video to about 125% the video started to lag. So I went with 120% and everything was fine. I was almost done with the video, but it was late so I thought that I'll just finish it tomorrow. When I started up my laptop today and opened up my edit all my gameplay was laggy! I checked the speed of the clips and all of them were 120%. I don't know what to do :( Please help fast.

Try rebooting your computer.
Sometimes when you shutdown and turn back on your computer, it can sometimes not load everything correctly.

Why do you turn your computer off at nights?
Set it to go to sleep, instead of turning it off, that is what the feature is for.

My computers run constantly, hardly ever turn them off, unless there is a power failure and I turn them off before the battery backup does.

Besides that, reboot the computer, and see if that helps.
