I want to view timeline as frame # vs hh:mins:secs

Hi,

Is there a way to display the Camtasia timeline in frames so I don't need to do a conversion each time when working with my Animation and Music Production SW? I would think many other ppl would have this issue as well.

I work with animation SW (such as Maya) and Music apps (such as Pro Tools).  The standard method when working with video is to display the timelines as the # of frames (since start of the clip).  Thx Darryl

Hi there

Unfortunately I've never known Camtasia to be able to display the timeline in any other way than it presently does. It would require a change in the application programming.

Cheers... Rick :)

one way to do this is to use captions, marked off in frames, or in blocks of frames

I've done this with time; I've made a collection of Library assets that are blocks of "time captions", marked off and labeled in seconds;  i have one black that covers 3600 seconds [1 hr]

since there are 30 frames per second, doing this in captions would be tedious and time consuming; but do-able, none-the-less
