I will not buy Camtasia until version 9 comes out... when will it be released?

I am tired of Camtasia crashing and not fully rendering. I already know the cause of those problems, and heard that Camtasia 9 will use the computer's full RAM capacity. Does anyone know when that is being released? I've seen that upgrading Camtasia to a new version is like $149.99 dollars or something, which is ridiculous. That being said, I will not buy it until version 9 comes out. Does anyone else feel the same way?

I use Camtasia every day and have zero crash issues. That being said - you can file a support ticket (free) at http:///support.techsmith.com and after you provide a diagnostic of your computer setup to tthem, they can frequently diagnose issues specific to your computer hardware and software configuration.

Techsmith never announces release dates for major version updates. I personally believe that perhaps Camtasia may be UNDERpriced. I would prefer that Techsmith  continue to add features that rival more expensive products like Articulate Storyline,

" I personally believe that perhaps Camtasia may be UNDERpriced." Wow. It must be nice to have that money. I teach in a community college. I don't have the cash to upgrade from 7.1.1 to 8. I bought 7.1.1 on eBay a couple of years ago for $35. Want to pay for the upgrade for me since you have so much money?

please support "intel quick sync" in camtasia 9. it take 50 minutes to merge audio and video in cs 8. In cyberlink and corel videostuio, it take only 15 minutes to merge audio and video. cs 8 take too long when rendering hd or long videos ;(
