Camtasia 9 is a disaster! after weeks of recording videos and preparing them for editing, I couldn't open any of them, the application says you cannot open .tscproj , only camrec and trec, when I click on the file itself nothing happens!!!

what exact version of CS9 are you using [see help/about]?
camrec and trec files are Camtasia Recorder file formats; they are not project files; camrec files were used by CS8 and early builds of CS9; trec files are from recent versions of Camtasia Recorder; most recent build for CS9 is 9.1.2.; latest new version of Camtasia is 2018
tscproj files are current [9.1.2.] CS9 version project files; if you are using an early build of CS9, it will not open tscproj files
could you post a screenshot showing the error message you are receiving

Version 9.1.2 (64 bit)
you see when I open a project in the screen, it doesn't show the files, and when I go to the file from windows and double click on it, it opens CS9 with empty media and track.

thank you for this information
in your 1st screen shot, when you open a named project file and it then displays nothing [no files in media bin, nothing on timeline], that indicates that you saved a new but empty project
your 2nd screen shot indicates that the target directory does not have any tscproj files in it
try this ... open Camtasia 9, on file menu, open recent projects; is a project listed there; if so, open it; then use file/save to see where that file is
is it possible that you saved the project files elsewhere [different directory]?

Thanks for the respond, I tried to export the projects as zip file and then import zip files and it looks good, is that a correct way to save unfinished projects?

exporting as zip is the best way to save a project file; it ensures that all media used in the project is included within the zip archive
